Retal is a lightweight daily recording application focused on one-shot daily documentation. It enables users to upload daily photos, record matching text notes, and permanently save personal daily records in the system for permanent storage and anytime viewing. This app sets strict adult-only usage restrictions. All core functions including photo uploading, text content editing, daily record saving and local viewing are only open to adult users aged 18 and above. We do not provide any service access to minors, and will never collect or retain any data generated by minor users.

3. Categories of Processed User Data

User Daily Record Content: All daily photos uploaded and text notes edited by users are private personalized content independently created by users. Such content is solely used for local saving, daily record archiving and personal viewing within the app, to meet users’ needs for daily life documentation and memory preservation.

Basic Anonymous Operational Data: To maintain stable app operation, optimize page loading speed and fix occasional program bugs, we may collect anonymous, non-personally identifiable device information and system running logs. This data cannot identify individual user identities and is not associated with users’ private daily record content.

The app does not support automatic cloud synchronization, remote server uploading or background cloud backup. All user’s daily photos and text records are stored only in the user’s local device storage space.

Users retain full ownership, control and management rights over all personal daily record content. You can freely view, edit, delete and organize your daily archives at any time, and manually clear app cache data to manage local content independently. Terminating the use of the app will automatically stop all data processing activities of the platform.

6. Comprehensive Data Security Protection

We adopt industry-standard technical security measures to fully protect users’ local private data security. During the whole process of photo uploading and text record editing, we will not extract, identify or obtain users’ sensitive personal information, biometric data or other private details from user-submitted content. Retal does not cooperate with any third-party data collection institutions.
