These User Terms and Conditions constitute a binding legal agreement between the platform operator of Retal and all individual users accessing and utilizing the application. All service access, content creation and software usage behaviors are subject to the rules set forth below. Continued use of Retal confirms your full reading, understanding and unconditional acceptance of these terms. If you do not agree with any clause herein, you must cease all use of this application immediately.

1. Platform Service Scope

Retal is a personalized daily recording application dedicated to daily snapshot and journal keeping. The core service of the platform allows users to capture life moments by uploading daily photos and matching customized text notes, which are securely saved in the system database for permanent storage and free viewing at any time. The application is designed solely for users’ personal, non-commercial daily record-keeping, life documentation and private viewing purposes.

The platform operator reserves the right to conduct routine technical maintenance, functional optimization, interface adjustment and performance upgrading at any time to improve user experience. Minor service optimizations will not affect the normal use of core recording and storage functions for compliant users.

2. Age Qualification & Access Control

This application is exclusively available for users aged 18 and older. Any individual under the age of eighteen is strictly prohibited from registering an account, uploading photographic or textual content, and accessing any internal storage and recording functions of Retal.

By using this platform, you certify that you have reached the legal age of majority and possess full civil capacity to assume legal responsibility for all your published content and operational behaviors. The platform reserves the right to verify user age information through technical verification mechanisms. Any confirmed minor user will have their account access and all service permissions permanently terminated without prior notice, and all stored personal recording data may be cleared by the platform.

3. User Behavior & Content Rules

Users take full and exclusive responsibility for all photos, text notes and other content uploaded and stored through the Retal system. All user-generated content must comply with local laws, regulations and social public order. Users are prohibited from uploading, storing or retaining content that is illegal, violent, pornographic, defamatory, infringing, discriminatory or harmful to third-party legitimate rights and interests.

It is forbidden to use the platform’s daily recording function for commercial promotion, paid marketing, information spam, data theft or any profit-driven activities. Users shall not tamper with the system storage rules, invade platform security systems, or interfere with the normal data saving and viewing functions through technical means.

The platform holds the right to review stored user content. Any non-compliant content will be disposed of through shielding or deletion. The platform may suspend or permanently ban user accounts that repeatedly violate platform rules and legal provisions.

4. Data Storage & Privacy Protection

The platform attaches great importance to user data security and private content protection. All daily snapshot photos, text records and personal journal data uploaded by users are stored in encrypted system databases. The platform strictly protects user private data and will not arbitrarily disclose, sell, rent or share user personal content and information with any third parties without explicit user authorization.

User data is only used for the basic purpose of realizing content storage, record viewing and personal daily recording functions. The platform will retain user recording data stably for users to query and view at any time. Data disclosure will only be conducted in response to legal judicial requirements, administrative law enforcement orders and mandatory legal provisions.

5. Intellectual Property Authorization & Protection

All intellectual property rights of the Retal application, including software copyright, system framework, interface design, storage technology and functional logic, are exclusively owned by the platform operator. No individual or third-party organization may copy, imitate, disassemble, spread or commercially use the platform’s core technologies without written official authorization.

Users retain full ownership of all original daily photos and independent text records created and uploaded by themselves. Users grant the platform a limited, non-commercial, non-exclusive perpetual authorization only for system storage, data retention and in-app display to complete the platform’s built-in recording services. The platform has no right to commercially use, transfer or resell user original personal recording content.

Users shall bear full legal liability for any third-party rights disputes caused by their uploaded content, and shall compensate the platform for all economic losses and reputation damages incurred therefrom.

6. Platform Liability Limitation

Retal provides daily recording and data storage services on an “as available” basis. The platform does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, zero system errors or full compatibility with all mobile device models. Service abnormalities caused by objective factors including network instability, device failures, system upgrades and third-party service exceptions shall not be deemed as platform liability.

All personal life records are independently created and uploaded by users. The platform does not participate in user content creation and does not assume legal responsibility for the authenticity, legality and accuracy of user-generated records. The platform shall not compensate for any personal or property losses arising from users’ improper operation or rule violation behaviors.

7. Agreement Update & Service Termination Mechanism

The platform reserves the right to update and revise these user terms irregularly in response to business adjustments, technical upgrades and legal policy changes. Revised terms will be published within the application and take effect immediately upon publication. Continued use of platform services after updates constitutes automatic acceptance of the latest agreement content.

The platform reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate user service qualifications for any user who violates agreement clauses, publishes illegal content, or maliciously damages platform operational security and legitimate rights and interests.

8. Legal Application & Dispute Handling

The formulation, validity, interpretation and dispute resolution of this agreement shall be governed by applicable national laws. In the event of disputes arising from the use of platform services, both parties shall resolve the matter through friendly negotiation. If negotiation fails, either party may file a lawsuit with the competent people’s court where the platform operator is located.
